A golden opportunity beckons women Ph.D. holders in STEMM. Coming this year, the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Indo-US Science and Technology Forum is providing fellowships to women holding Ph.D. degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine.
The fellowship which seeks to draw women to in STEMM careers is for women Ph.D. holders between the age 27-50years.The last date to submit the application form is February 28.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
The female candidate must possess a Ph.D. in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine from a recognized university or institute.
Also, they must have a regular position in any government recognized academic institution.
Age Limit:
The women candidates should be in the age group of 27-50 years.
Scholarship Reward:
The candidate will be provided with a monthly stipend of USD 3000, airfare up to USD 2500, health insurance of up to USD 1000, contingency up to USD 750 and conference allowances of up to USD 1000.

About the Fellowship:
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not for profit society that promotes and catalyses Indo-US bilateral collaborations in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry. With a view to strengthening the ever-growing Indian representation in the STEMM field, this fellowship has been undertaken.
