US-based biometric technologies company Synaptics has developed ‘Turnkey’, a USB port compatible fingerprint scanner to secure laptops and computers.
Users need to put the scanner into a USB port in their systems after registering their fingerprints.
Once registered, fingerprint becomes the primary way to access a system through a single touch of a finger.
