More than 90% of the over 4.75 lakh candidates who had registered for the NEET 2 exam for admission to medical and dental colleges took the test in 56 cities.
The combined result of NEET 1 and NEET 2 will be declared by August 17.
In a statement, CBSE, which conducted the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), said the test was conducted at 739 centres in 56 cities.
“Total candidates registered for the examination were 4,75,785. As per preliminary reports received from across the country, more than 90% candidates were present in the examination,” the statement said.
