Mumbai world’s most crowded airport: Reports

According to reports, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport is four times more crowded than any other major airport in the world.

While the Mumbai airport has 34,000 passengers per acre (ppa) on an average, Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport that is reportedly India’s busiest has 8,980 ppa.

Notably, 69.7% of the 2006.86-acre​ Mumbai airport is used.​
