Shoolini University has partnered with University of Melbourne for a dual-degree programme starting with the Bachelor of Science Advanced (Honours), says an article published on Indianexpress.
First dual degree collaboration
This will be University of Melbourne’s first dual degree collaboration with a private Indian university.
Indian students will pursue undergraduate studies in Science at both the universities. Students will study for two years at Shoolini University and for the next two years at University of Melbourne. In their third and fourth year, students can choose from diverse multidisciplinary majors including Agriculture, Sustainability and Environment, Biosciences and Computer Sciences.
Post-study work rights
Eligible students can extend their studies for an additional year, thus, completing a Master’s of Science at the University of Melbourne, and have the opportunity to apply for post-study work rights in Australia upon meeting Australian government criteria.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global, Culture and Engagement, University of Melbourne Professor Michael Wesley said, “This is our fourth dual-degree partnership with an Indian University and our first with a private university. We are delighted to work with Shoolini University.”
