German Chancellor Fellowships For prospective Leaders 2017

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants up to 50 German Chancellor Fellowships to university graduates from five countries every year, including India.

Up to 10 scholars from each country who have an international outlook and initial leadership, are given the opportunity to spend a year in Germany, networking with other prospective leaders from abroad to explore new solutions to the global issues of our times.

Eligibility: Students with bachelors or any equivalent academic degree with proven leadership experience, an independent research project plan and fluency in English language can apply.

Prizes and rewards: Up to 2,750 EUR per month, plus 500 EUR per month additional for research, travel allowance for individual and family accompanying, German speaking course fee, educational trip allowance, etc.

Tagesspiegel Entrepreneur Scholarship

The German newspaper Tagesspiegel and ESMT are offering fraduates, who have found a start-up or have a solid business start-up plan in mind, an MBA degree from ESMT BERLIN with partial scholarship to build their own companies.

Eligibility: Graduates or fresh entrepreneurs.

Application: Send your CV and a motivation letter to ESMT via email on how the ESMT Executive MBA programme will contribute to your future.  Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete the online application.

Prizes and rewards: € 40,000, reducing the total programme cost from € 57,500 to € 17,500.
