By giving ‘wings’ to children to fly towards lofty ideals, former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was fulfilling a teacher’s duty to fashion a generation with social commitment, Education Minister C. Ravindranath said in his message on the occasion of International Students’ Day on October 15.
A press note issued said Kalam was exceedingly fond of ideating with students.
