Tata Steel announced the winners of its Annual Innovation challenge — Mind over Matter Season 3 — on Friday.
The 6 month-long programme culminated with the Grand finale on Friday where a total of five teams presented their innovation ideas before the jury, a statement said.
Mukesh Kumar and Vijay Anand from IIT Kharagpur emerged the winner of MOM Season 3; Priyanka Sinha and Aarushee Agarwal from NIT Jamshedpur bagged the 1st Runner up position, and Manish K Chandan and Sourav Agarwal from BIT Mesra secured the third slot.
Over 30 top engineering institutes of the country took part in the competition which witnessed a record 270 idea submissions against a total of 12 challenges (topics) put forth by Tata Steel R&D team, the statement said.
