The Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay) is set to host its latest edition of the Entrepreneurship Summit on January 28-29.

The event is expected to see participation from over 500 startups and will be attended by over 16,000 students from across the world.

The event seeks to provide a well-rounded discussion with government representatives, key founders and active investors invited to speak to the audience.

The CEO of Niti Aayog Amitabh Kant and the Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will be part of the government delegation, while Rajat Sharma, CEO of IndiaTV, social entrepreneur and educationist Sonam Wangchuk, Satya Narayanan, chairman of Career Launcher, among others will provide the entrepreneur’s view.

Bringing the investors’ point of view will be Nexus Venture Partner cofounder Suvir Sujan, Morgan Stanley India managing director Ridham Desai and chief innovation officer of DBS Bank Neal Cross, among others.

The Entrepreneurship Cell of the University has scheduled specific events like ‘The 10 Minute Million’ which will provide entrepreneurs with a perfect pitching opportunity to investors, iHack which brings together coders, developers, designers together, Startup Expo which acts as a platform for innovative startups to showcase their product or solution to the world.

The Entrepreneurship Summit will also host an intensive workshop, an Internship and Job Fair aimed at connecting budding entrepreneurs with the startups and a Business Conclave to provide a networking opportunity to those looking to further entrench themselves in the Indian startup ecosystem.
