Google’s proposed free Wi-Fi service for railway stations in India is now available at 10 stations across the country.  Google launched the service earlier in the year with Mumbai central station.

After Mumbai Central, Google has launched its free high-speed public Wi-Fi service at nine more Indian railway stations:

  1. Pune
  2. Bhubaneshwar
  3. Bhopal
  4. Ranchi
  5. Raipur
  6. Vijayawada
  7. Kacheguda (Hyderabad)
  8. Ernakulam (Kochi)
  9. Visakhapatnam.

Google claims that the Wi-Fi is fast enough to allow streaming of HD videos.  Further, the company aims to expand the service to 100 stations by year end.
