Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released notification for holding counselling for the academic session 2016-17.

Admission in technical courses including engineering, pharmacy, management, architecture will begin this week.

Colleges are not allowed to directly admit the students, DTE counselling committee will facilitate admission in the colleges on the basis of merit list of JEE Mains.

Admission to candidates outside the state will also appear for the counselling apart from candidates having domicile certificate of the Madhya Pradesh state.

DTE will be conducting the online admission process for engineering courses on 87,804 seats across the state.

As per AICTE guidelines, there will be about 9510 seats for mechanical engineering and 2250 seats for information technology branch.
