The World Has Changed: Supplying India’s biggest agriculture crop during the lockdown
June 28 @ 5:00 PM - June 30 @ 6:00 PM IST
Amul Federation, India’s largest food product organisation with an annual group turnover of more than USD 7 billion in 2019, cannot be viewed simply as a business enterprise. It is an institution created by the milk producers and its various stakeholders themselves to safeguard their interest economically, socially as well as democratically.
During the COVID -19 pandemic and the resultant lockdown, Amul has not only provided an uninterrupted source of milk and milk products to a country of more than billion people, but also gave all its stakeholders an important source of livelihood. From their own employees, to supply chain partners, rural migrants and daily wage workers, Amul ensured all of them were involved, motivated and gave their best.
Why should you attend?
Join us at 5pm IST on Sunday, 28th June as Mr. R S Sodhi, Managing Director at Amul, takes us through Amul’s response to the lockdown and give us a glimpse into what the future looks like – while ensuring milk and milk products are continuously supplied to a billion people.
