The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has introduced a nine-month course on Sanskrit for students and staff members.
Sanskrit words for medical jargon apart from sentence formation will be taught in the two-hour daily class, AIIMS-Patna Director GK Singh said.
He added that students taking the optional course will receive a certificate from the HRD Ministry.
